A Painting Inspired by a Scary Walk

Although I love the landscapes that surround my home, I am terrified of big drops and sheer hillsides that often accompany a trip to get inspiration for a new painting. This walk up Tryfan a few weeks ago was one such terrifying mission. Full disclosure, I turned around scooted down and before my nerves got the better of me, much to the disappointment of my partner Chris who was super excited to show me the cwm just above the route we had taken. Back at a safer viewpoint on the other side of the valley, I did some sketching and took photos from the viewpoint that inspired this painting!
